‘Show me where?’ is a new pain tool for autistic children with communication difficulties. It is also useful for disabilities that limit speech, such as Cerebral Palsy.
In a clinical setting it is especially useful for examining frightened or anxious children.
Show me where? allows the child to communicate in the third person, alleviating anxiety and enabling the clinician to examine and communicate with the child in a similar and familiar way.
