Meltdown Tracker is designed by a qualified teacher with an adult autism diagnosis who is also an autism parent. All the digital resources are designed to help with meltdowns and shutdowns, which I found very little mention of in books and resources.
Visuals
Using a visual style with fresh and simple drawings, resources are easy to use, colourful and accessible. Topics include what to do during a meltdown, with easy-to-follow visuals.
Why visuals?
Research has shown that visual information is easier to recall for everyone. This is especially important in times of stress, such as trying to help someone with a meltdown.
In one resource, titled ‘What helps during a meltdown?’ each of the five steps listed spells out ‘HELPS’, which will hopefully be easy to recall when you are trying to help someone during a meltdown.
Cold Tracker
Also, there is a guide full of activities called Cold Tracker about how to help an individual recognise that they are cold and steps to take to help. This colourful and interactive resource can help someone recognise when they are cold and what to do about it.
Skills building
With these resources, individuals are learning how to look for their meltdown clues and explore ways to address these. They are encouraged to draw, write, interact with the resources and make them their own. This meltdown tracking will be useful for the rest of their lives.
More resources being added…
More resources are being added all the time, and all have the Meltdown Tracker stamp of visual approval!

Extended resources
There are some extended versions of resources on my Etsy shop, and anyone who is unable to afford these can get in touch and receive the extended versions for free.
