The ethos and passion behind ACE-SEN Consultancy was to provide a much needed service for schools and parents at an affordable price.

Nicola Durrant is a dyslexia teacher and assessor, alongside having a Master’s Degree in Autism.  She worked for 13 years as a specialist advisory teacher for a local authority.  She is a Mum to an Autistic daughter with a PDA profile.

The launch of online zoom training was established due to the lockdown in March 2020.  Providing training for £5 meant that everyone could afford access to professionals who were also parents of SEN children.

Event

Understanding the link between autism and anxiety is crucial.  Anxiety is the main emotion experienced by autistic individuals.  Understanding and supporting anxiety management both at home and school is essential for mental health.  Suitable for school staff and parents.
