World Autism Awareness Week is back and even bigger than before!
Last year we raised an amazing £235,395 and thanks to that outstanding achievement, we have been able to plan the UK’s biggest ever awareness-raising campaign about autism. We’re launching it on Saturday 2 April 2016, World Autism Awareness Day!
With more awareness and understanding of autism, the general public will be kinder to families living with autism. We hope it’ll make life that little bit easier, and stop families from feeling so isolated.
This is where you come in! We need to make World Autism Awareness Week 2016 even bigger than last year, so we can keep the momentum going for our important work!
There are loads of fun ways to get involved. Why not take part in Onesie Wednesday or organise a pink and purple bake off?
You could also sign up to our Night Walk events, which are happening in London and Manchester on Saturday 2 April. Get your team together and take on the 5, 10 or 15 kilometre route and light up the night by standing out for autism!
The awareness and the money you raise during World Autism Awareness Week will help us to achieve great things including sustaining our helpline and supporting our vital services for autistic people, because we won’t stop until everyone understands autism.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support.
