The Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall are hosting two relaxed performances this year for Gangsta Granny and their swashbuckling pirate pantomime, Peter Pan.
GANGSTA GRANNY
It’s Friday night and Ben knows that means only one thing – staying with Granny!
There will be cabbage soup, cabbage pie and cabbage cake and Ben knows one thing for sure – it’s going to be sooooooooo boring!
But what Ben doesn’t know is that Granny has a secret – and Friday nights are about to get more exciting than he could ever imagine, as he embarks on the adventure of a lifetime with his very own Gangsta Granny!
PETER PAN
Take a fairytale flight to Neverland this Christmas in the pirate pantomime adventure Peter Pan.
Join our high-flying hero as he transports the Darlings on an adventure they will never forget full of evil pirates, the lost boys, a very hungry crocodile and the meanest man in Neverland, Captain Hook.
Relaxed Performances provide an opportunity for customers who may find it difficult to come and see a show to experience the joy of live theatre.
The shows are specially adapted for customers with a wide range of disabilities and those on the autistic spectrum, as well as people living with dementia.
They are also ideal for families bringing very young babies to their first theatre show.

They are still the same great shows but with some small changes to the sound levels and lighting. These performances provide a less formal, more supportive atmosphere in order to reduce anxiety levels.
