St. John’s is a specialist School and College based on the south coast of England.
School & College
St. John’s offers an inclusive educational environment for young people with autism and other needs, whose learning, social, emotional, communication and sensory differences are too complex for many mainstream settings.
St John’s is awarded with Autism Accreditation by the National Autistic Society (NAS). We work hard to improve the lives of each learner by embracing them as an individual and shaping their curriculum around their strengths, interests, and challenges.
Based in Seaford on England’s south coast, minutes from the beach, St. John’s School provides children and young people aged seven-19 years with a broad, balanced and active learning experience.
Situated in the diverse city of Brighton, St. John’s College supports young people and adults aged 19-25 years, to acquire the knowledge and skills that enable them to achieve significant life-enhancing outcomes.
Our wellbeing services are central to supporting our learners to be able to access learning and engage in education. The team includes Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Music Therapy, Counselling, Positive Behaviour Support, Psychology, and Nursing.
We offer residential placements, with optional weekend boarding, of 38 weeks (School) and up to 52 weeks (College).
St. John’s offers a waking day curriculum where learning runs through all aspects of residential and educational life. Creating chances for our learners to enjoy our vibrant local community is very important to us.
