Join us for a dark and delicious Christmas with The Red Shoes in our Swan Theatre from 7 November and Twelfth Night in our Royal Shakespeare Theatre from 2 December, the perfect winter treat.
The Red Shoes
There’s magic this Christmas, but not like you might expect, with Hans Christian Andersen’s dark fairy tale The Red Shoes, which follows the story of an orphaned girl who is spellbound by a mysterious pair of red shoes.
Brought to you in a new, compelling version by Nancy Harris.
Twelfth Night
In our main Royal Shakespeare Theatre enjoy Shakespeare’s bittersweet winter masterpiece Twelfth Night, a freewheeling miracle of farce, longing, love and life.

We have Captioned, Audio Described, Chilled, Handheld Captioned and integrated BSL-interpreted performances for both shows, with a Relaxed matinee performance on Sunday 15 December of The Red Shoes.
