Homefield College has partnered with alternative providers to provide post-16 education to young adults in specific industries. T.E.C.K in Coalville are motor industry specialists, whilst Enstruct in Leicester are leading the way in environmental studies and construction.
Practical skills
As part of the sub-contracted ‘@ Homefield’ programmes, students build practical skills in motor vehicle and engineering at T.E.C.K or environment and construction at Enstruct.
They learn in a hands-on approach that leads them to employment whilst furthering their social interaction and gaining an understanding of employers’ needs.
