Morocco sits at the north-western tip of the mighty continent of Africa with coastlines that stretch along the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts. Known for its welcoming people, delicious food, pungent, spicy smells that rise up from the lively streets, an awakening for the senses.
Morocco has a rich, cultural history and world renowned architecture combined with it’s majestic landscapes of mountains, deserts and beaches. We hope you come and join us on The Paradise of Morocco for a cup of mint tea from a Moroccan roof terrace and enjoy an African sunset.
We have partnered up with Moroccan-based local specialists, Jeremy Schmidt and his team at Morocco Accessible Travel, to guarantee that we get the best out of our nine-day trip.
Where you’ll be staying…
The accommodations will be a mix of 4-star hotels and riads throughout the time. The hotels are typical of Western-style hotels, with pools and “normal amenities”.
The riads are traditional guest houses that have a very traditional, Moroccan feel.
Food, glorious food!
The food that is served will be a wide variety of Moroccan foods that may include tagines (which vary greatly, depending on what you like), couscous and grilled meats. Often, many of the hotels and restaurants have a few options for those of you who would like more “Western” type meals including hamburgers, chicken, french fries, etc. There are also often vegetarian options for those who prefer not to eat meat.
What you’ll experience…
We will meet at London Heathrow airport and you will be supported on the flight to Marrakech Airport, in Morocco.
We will then be transported to our first accommodation in Marrakech.
We will spend each day, after our arrival and before our departure, visiting cities, towns and villages of historical and cultural interest. We will also spend time in the beautiful landscapes of Morocco, taking in some of the natural wonders.
Your holiday will include the following:
- Eight nights, full board accommodation.
- All entrance fees to all sites and activities.
- Airport transfers and transport in and around Morocco.
- Return flight from London to Marrakech, accompanied and supported by our Go Beyond team.
- A ratio of 2 guests to 1 Go Beyond support staff member.
- Support from our Go Beyond team during the holiday.
