Frameless is an award-winning immersive, multisensory art experience that showcases some of the world’s best-known masterpieces, across four galleries, scored to music and animated using cutting-edge technology.
Monet, Dali, Van Gogh, Klimt, Cezanne, Rembrandt, Kandinsky, Klee, Hilma af Klint and Mondrian are some of the artists referenced.
Chilled sessions
Frameless offers chilled sessions, created especially for deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people, and those who might feel more at ease in less busy public spaces.
These family sessions operate with reduced capacity, and the volume and lighting in the galleries are adjusted.
Frameless builds a sensory space with a dark tent, mood lighting and floor cushions and provides resources such as ear defenders, fidget toys, dark glasses, and easy-read and visual guides.
Frameless has full disabled access and all visitors are welcome. Everybody is encouraged to come along and enjoy the experience in their own way.
The next chilled sessions will take place from 9.30 am to 11.30 am on Monday 12 February and Tuesday 2 April.

Relaxed school sessions
As part of its education programme, Frameless also offers relaxed school sessions.
For these, the venue closes to the public and builds a sensory room exclusively for special schools and SEND providers.
Additional staffing and resources are also provided to support school staff and carers.
