The Bond Hotel in Blackpool has undergone a transformation ahead of the 2018 summer season.
Many of the hotel rooms have been refurbished as part of an ongoing commitment to provide the best possible facilities and environment for accessible holidays.
As well as brand new carpets, beds, furniture, and paint, the hotel has installed new wet floors and walls into level-access bathrooms.
The investment does not stop there. As part of an intensive training programme, staff undergo regular Autism and Asperger’s training to gain an understanding of how they can help each guest to make the most of their time at the hotel.
Our training includes types of Autism, the Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the impact of and development of Autism, the Triad of Impairment, and therapeutic interventions. Training also includes identifying signs and symptoms, triggers, and ways to manage behaviour.
