“Everything is changing. Kids with severe special needs have more prospects than ever and technology is driving this,” says Martin Littler, veteran founder of Inclusive Technology and HelpKidzLearn.
“Already kids can drive their computers with their eyes” he adds, “and soon the data they generate as they look around will highlight their abilities, their interests and anything holding them back”.
Inclusive is doing substantial research in the fields of eye-gaze, PMLD learning analytics, and adaptive learning and this has just been recognised with the 2015 Business Excellence Awards for Innovation in Special Needs. They are delighted.
