Chroma, the UK’s leading provider of creative arts therapy services, has partnered with multi-award-winning travel agency, Not Just Travel (NJT), to provide fuss-free holiday bookings for families with seen or unseen disabilities.
Spotting a gap in the market and recognising the unique needs of families affected by neurological injury or neurodiversity issues such as autism, Chroma will work with Not Just Travel to provide inclusive and accessible travel to clients and wider.
Available directly, or via case managers and personal injury lawyers, travellers have access to a free-of-charge, independent, personalised service and NJT has access to over 450 holiday specialists and suppliers to cater for individual needs.
Stress-free and easy
This is a major step for families who need to travel with additional, often lifesaving, equipment or adoptive families, with children who may have issues with behaviour, ADHD, or have specific transport requirements.
Anna Ironmonger, NJT travel consultant, said: “I am excited to be launching this service with Chroma. Booking a holiday can be stressful for families with one or more members who have additional needs and may be a barrier that prevents them from going on holiday!
“My role is to help make the holiday booking process stress-free and easy, I can arrange travel, transport and specific hotel requirements for all seen or unseen disabilities at no extra cost.
“And because we genuinely care, we go the extra mile to help create unique holiday experiences without the usual hassle, which often puts off people in rehab or with long-term conditions from travelling.”
An idea that’s finally taken off
Daniel Thomas, managing director at Chroma added, “This partnership has been in the pipeline for a while now and I am delighted it has finally ‘taken off’! We often hear from clients how distressing and disheartening the process of going on holiday with a loved one who has additional needs is, which is why we wanted to launch this service.
“We understand the needs of such families and are here to help them get the best out of their holiday experience – there is no reason why they shouldn’t. With our knowledge and Anna’s expertise, we hope to help families fulfil their holiday needs.”
The service is completely free of charge but, for every holiday booked, Chroma will receive a small commission which it will ringfence to create a fund to offer therapy to clients without a compensation claim.
Free therapy for clients who need it
Daniel concluded, “Any commission Chroma earns will help provide free therapy to clients who need it. This is yet another amazing factor about this partnership – not only do we get to help travelling become less stressful for neurodiverse families, but we will also be able to support more clients who may not be able to afford it.”
As part of the Hays Travel Group, Not Just Travel offers all the benefits of booking with a larger agent, combined with a renowned personal concierge travel service.
