Significant upgrade
Over the years, our Intensive service has been immensely popular. In response to overwhelming demand, we embarked on a significant upgrade for our Therapy Centre.
The result? A state-of-the-art facility where we can run Intensive programmes, with ample space for comfortable and effective therapy sessions.
Our vision is to establish a centre of excellence, focusing on socially significant skill-building via compassionate interdisciplinary therapy techniques. Ultimately, we aim to contribute to more meaningful and enriched lives.
What’s new and exciting?
Expanded Toileting Behaviours Teaching: Our new extension features three different types of bathroom, each equipped with various toilets and flush mechanisms, including our innovative wash/dry toilet. Independence in meeting toileting needs is a crucial life skill, and we’re here to help individuals at every stage, from initial training to advanced practices.
Enhanced Functional Living Skills: We now offer more opportunities to develop functional living skills, including the introduction of a body dryer for those who may find towel drying challenging or seek a more independent option.
Advanced Communication Methods: We’re installing a variety of communication methods to ensure that everyone can effectively express their needs and wants.
Reducing Behaviours that Challenge: Our expanded space, additional rooms, increased storage, and desensitisation opportunities, such as the introduction of a hand dryer, allow us to focus on reducing behaviours that challenge through teaching functional communication and coping skills.
Private Space for Families: We understand the importance of family support. That’s why we’ve created a private space for parents and siblings to rest, nap, work, play, or even revise while their loved ones engage in therapy.

Our standard Intensive package runs from Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
