At Buxton Opera House & Pavilion Arts Centre, a range of accessible performances are available to ensure all customers feel a warm welcome and their visit to the theatre is as enjoyable as possible.
Cinderella
You shall go to the ball this festive season with our magical family pantomime, Cinderella!
Working all day long, completing chores and being taunted by her ugly stepsisters is all Cinderella has ever known. That is, until her Fairy Godmother makes all her wishes come true…
Our autism-friendly performance will be on Wednesday 13 December, 5.30pm. A sensory breakout space will be available throughout the performance.
Tickets for this event can be booked by contacting our Box Office on 01298 72190. We will also have our BSL-Interpreted performance on Thursday 28 December, 5.30pm.
Hare & Tortoise
Join us over this festive period for a beautiful reworking of Aesop’s famous fable, Hare & Tortoise. We travel through the seasons with these two unlikely but loveable friends and help them prepare for their big race.
This Buxton Opera House production is a musical play for 3-8 year-olds and their families. It is a perfect introduction to theatre.
Our autism-friendly performance will be on Sunday 17 December, 10am. We will also have our BSL-Interpreted performance on Sunday 24 December, 10am.
