It’s one of the most important decisions you could make, so we are here to help you find out if adoption is right for you. All our children are special to us and we welcome your interest in offering a home to a child.
We are looking for single people or couples
At Adopt London North we welcome people from all walks of life to raise, love and care for a child who needs to be adopted. Your skills and knowledge in caring for a child who has had a difficult start will be important throughout their life.
As well as helping them develop in their health and education, you will also need to support them to understand their early life experiences.
By promoting their identity and culture, and putting their needs first, they can develop, build their self-confidence and be the best versions of themselves.
There will be challenges along the way, and you’ll need lots of patience and understanding. We’ll help with a range of support, including therapeutic support, financial support – if you need it (this is means tested), and lots more.
Adoption is one of the most rewarding things you can do
As an adoptive parent your life takes on a whole new meaning and gives a child who needs it, a second chance.
We welcome families who live within the North London area/surrounding counties (within an hour’s travel of our office in Islington, North London). You will need space in your home for a child now, and in the future.
