As part of International Women’s Day 2022 and National Careers Week, a group of students at Fairfield Farm College in Wiltshire took part in a webinar with Innovate UK.
Innovate UK is the UK’s national innovation agency, supporting all sectors and technologies with developing new ideas and more.

The students got to chat with Karla, who discussed the transport and technology industry and answered a variety of student questions.
Students found out about emerging technologies in development and had the opportunity to ask Karla about any issues that she had faced in industry. Students also discussed how things have changed in regard to equal opportunities and equal pay.
