Tree of Hope is the crowdfunding charity that helps children and young people with a disability or illness, including therapies and techniques to manage autism, by supporting their families to raise the money they need to pay for specialist care that is not freely available through the NHS.
How Tree of Hope can help
Autism is not always immediately apparent in those that are diagnosed, as it is a lifelong developmental disability, and the symptoms can be more severe for some than others.
There are a range of interventions, therapies and approaches that can make your child’s life more bearable, including ABA Therapy, speech and language & behavioural therapies, sensory equipment, autism support dogs, assistive technology devices and other therapies and support.
Tree of Hope is passionate about giving families hope to help their children, to make life more bearable and giving families access to an efficient and effective fundraising model so that children can access the interventions that they need, but far too often, these interventions come with a high price tag.
We work with a host of experienced suppliers and therapy providers who may be able to provide your children with the support they need, including The Family Hope Centre, Research Autism, YAP (The Young Autism Project) and The Sound Learning Centre.
If you need to fundraise for your autistic child, fundraising with Tree of Hope gives you access to the following benefits:
We enable parents to fundraise under the banner of a registered charity and provide a dedicated family support service to support families with their very own campaign dedicated to their child.
Fundraising with Tree of Hope gives access to:
- Gift Aid – an extra 25p is donated from the tax man for every pound donated by UK tax payers.
- Corporate support and donations
- Matchfunding
- Donor reassurance that their money is safe and will be used correctly
- Access to trust and foundations
Tree of Hope also supports families by:
- Making fundraising tools and advice available through weekly fundraising advice and tips
- Facebook Support group to connect other families and provides private forum for tips and ideas
- Providing complete financial management, managing funds and paying invoices, providing peace of mind for families
- As a nationally known charity, we are able to give greater exposure to campaigns through our website, social media and PR opportunities.
Crowdfunding as an individual will NOT provide access to a support service or enable you to claim gift aid or provide reassurance to donors that their money will be used for the purpose it was originally donated for.
