Ruskin Mill Trust’s education and care provisions have remained open to our learners throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, with our most vulnerable children and young adults receiving face-to-face education opportunities.
Flexibility and adaptibility
Ruskin Mill Trust’s particular method of Practical Skills Therapeutic Education (PSTE) affords the ability for flexibility and adaptability in teaching and learning methods.
In response to the current situation and to reduce the likelihood of transmission of the virus, we have offered socially-distanced education by maximising outdoor learning in our superb outdoor environments.
Specialist independent education
For over 30 years, Ruskin Mill Trust has provided Specialist Independent Education to children and adults with complex needs including learning difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions and disabilities.
Our provisions offer both day and residential placements and applications are welcomed all year round. Watch our video on YouTube to see our unique curriculum in practice across our colleges and schools.
All our provisions are still accepting applications, with virtual tours of our sites on offer to give parents and prospective students a feel for our unique learning environment.
